Congratulations Omar Epps!!!

While I am not a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, as noted in my previous post, I am a huge fan of the TV show 'House', so I wanted to take a moment to congratulate Omar Epps on his Super Bowl win!!!

As head coach of the Steelers, I was impressed with how you were able to juggle drawing up plays and managing a professional football team, while at the same time diagnosing and treating rare medical disorders. This explains that line you had last season, when you said, "House, this disease is tougher to stop than Randy Moss on a corner route!"

You've had a great year. Win the Super Bowl and hook up with Thirteen! Of course all good things come to an end; Thirteen is dying and Tom Brady, no doubt, will return from his season-ending surgery and have some sort of bionic leg which he will use to hurdle entire defensive lines. But, let's live for the moment. You're on top of the world right now (except for switching Thirteen onto a trial medicine that may or may not have caused her to go blind.)

So, congrats! You're going to DISNEY LAND . . . right after you cure Lupus.

(Note: This blog only makes sense if you know that Omar Epps happens to look exactly like Steelers' head coach, Mike Tomlin AND you religiously watch the TV show House . . . I am appealing to a very small demographic)

Hilarious!!

My parents, avid House M.D. watchers, kept doing double takes all throughout the Superbowl. "Uh oh, Dr. Foreman looks worried!!"

well, if he loses his medial license and weekly opportunities to diagnose amyloidosis and kawasaki's disease, at least he'll have that shiny superbowl (TM) ring.

and he can keep banging thirteen. well, until she croaks.

I used to think I was the only one, but yes their resemblance is unbelievable. The first time I saw Mike Tomlin I wondered when Omar decided to give up acting. I'm sure there must be a non-soap opera-y explanation, but cannot imagine what that could be.
