Funny "Now Batting" Songs

As Nick Johnson walked up to the plate during the Yankees game the other day, instead of the classic hard-rock or hip-hop song playing in the background there was a somewhat stranger tune blasting from the stadium speakers. While, most MLB players select Metallica or T.I. (He's a relevant hip-hopper right?) Nick Johnson calmly strolled in to the sounds of Miley Cyrus.

Party In The USA - not exactly the most manly song to choose. Turns out he did it for his 4 year-old daughter who happened to be in attendance at the game after she asked him if he would (sidenote: He homered in the at-bat, so here is hoping that Miley Cyrus music is to Nick Johnson what Kate Hudson was to Alex Rodriguez.)

While, super-sweet when you know the reason he picked the song, for those left in the dark it was HILARIOUS! So, here's my question:

What's the funniest song you can think of for a player to walk out to?

Early picks include:

  • Everybody Have Fun Tonight (Wang Chung)
  • It's Raining Men (Weather Girls)
  • I Love The Nightlife (Alicia Bridges)
