American Idol Star Also Has a Sex Tape

Another week, another celebrity sex tape. This time, it is reported that former American Idol champ, Fantasia Barrino, is featured in a tape. Here's what I find weird about this and every other sex tape starring a celebrity, not that these tapes are made, they can do whatever they like with their lives, no, it is the phrase, "stars in."

First off, it makes it sound like a blockbuster movie. Hollywood set, CGI, 3-D, the whole nine, when in reality it is most likely a hotel room with a minibar (I'm told.)

Second, and more importantly, when someone is starring in something it implies there are people that are not starring in it. It is the whole reason there is a "Best Supporting Actor/Actress" category and casting calls for bit parts. I know what your are going to say, "Isn't the guy in the tape the supporting actor and 'bit' part?" No, they are the other lead, and should, using this logic, also be considered a 'star' of the video. So, unless your tape involves a supporting cast - gross - you are "in" a video not starring in one.
